Biography
Adélaïde Roguet is a scientist at the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene, University of Wisconsin – Madison. She obtained a Ph.D. in environmental microbiology at the University of Paris, where she studied microbes in lakes around Paris. Her research primarily focuses on microbes and waterborne pathogens in urban ecosystems to assess and prevent public health threats. Notably, she studied the microbes in sewers for many years before tracking COVID-19 and other diseases in wastewater.
