Biography Zachary Zawada is a microbiologist at the Milwaukee Health Department Laboratory. He obtained his MS in Microbiology at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. He joined the Milwaukee Health Department in 2024 where he has been assisting with pathogen detection and surveillance in environmental systems such as air, wastewater, and recreational waters.
