Biography
Jocelyn Hemming is the Environmental Biology Program Director at the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene, University of Wisconsin – Madison and has been working on the Wisconsin Wastewater Surveillance Program since its inception. She obtained her PhD in Environmental Toxicology at UW-Madison. Prior to her current role, she was a Scientist in the WSLH’s Environmental Toxicology department. Her work included whole effluent toxicity testing, sediment toxicity testing and using in vitro bioassays to study endocrine disruptors, particulate matter toxicity and sensitization.
